The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Salads are subject to this recall:

  • Mediterranean Style Cous Cous Salad with Sweet Basil Dressing, sold in 2.01 ounce clear plastic containers with a use-by date of April 7, 2017.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Salads subject to recall bear establishment number “P-34309” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to Roundy’s Supermarket locations in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The problem was discovered by Roundy’s Supermarkets. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Salads and could be allergic to their ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
