According to the FSA, Tesco has recalled certain batch/lots of Finest Crab & Chilli Linguine Pasta because they have been mispacked with Tesco’s Finest Spaghetti Carbonara. This means that Egg and Milk are not declared on the label and the Pasta, therefore, is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Egg and/or Milk or Milk constituents. The product also contains Pork, an ingredient not declared on the label.

==> For information about Egg Allergy as well as Milk Allergy or Milk Intolerance, please consult the “Allergens & Intolerances” tab on this site, located at the top of this page.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Crab and Pasta and could be allergic to their Egg, Milk and/or Pork ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
