US/Silver Spring: Olde York recalls certain batch/lots of Clancy’s Snack Combos due to undeclared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Snack Foods are subject to this recall:
- Clancy’s Snack Combo, sold in 20 individual 1-ounce packets with a sell-by date code of JUN 07 2017 2D9. The Combo pack consists of a variety of 1 ounce bags of Snacks including Potato Chips, Tortilla Chips and Cheese Curls. The recalled Snack Combos were distributed to Aldi stores in Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
According to the FDA, the recall was initiated after one consumer reported finding the Nacho Tortilla Chips in two of the Barbecue Potato Chips 1-ounce bags. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by an isolated breakdown in the company’s cleaning process.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Snack Foods and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
