Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Frozen Foods are subject to this recall:

  • Menu Del Sol Frozen Burritos – Beans and Cheese flavor, sold in two (2) pound plastic pouches with a batch/lot code of C3018, a date code of BEST BY MAR01 18 and a UPC of 45230-05601.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FDA, the recalled Frozen Burritos can be identified by locating the black printed code on red background on the front of the package, toward the top, next to the Menu Del Sol logo. This information includes the corresponding lot number (“LOT C3018”) and a best by date of March 1, 2018 (“BEST BY MAR01 18”).

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Frozen Burritos, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Burritos to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
