Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Snack Foods are subject to this recall:

  • Yummy Snack Foods brand Yoghurt Sultanas, sold in mini tub plastic containers of 300 grams with a best-before date of 8/2/18, a batch/lot code of YSP-20171 and an APN/EAN of 9329598994586

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, this recall was initiated due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, specifically Peanuts. If you have a Peanut allergy or intolerance you should not consume this Snack Food.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Yoghurt Sultanas and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
