Additional information:
Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports this recall involves a metallic rectangular ring with an adjustable band approximately 1.6 centimetre diameter.

  • The recalled Children’s Rings have a green surface coating material background with a red flower and red dot design. It is approximately 1.9 centimetres in length and 1.4 centimetres in diameter.

According to Health Canada, its sampling and evaluation program has revealed that the recalled Jewellery contains Lead in excess of allowable limits.

Under the Children’s Jewellery Regulations of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act, it is illegal to import, advertise or sell jewellery items that appeal primarily to children under 15 years of age and contain more than 600 mg/kg total lead. Lead and cadmium are highly toxic, especially to children.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Children’s Flower Rings, please do not use them nor let your child wear or play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
