Australia/Canberra: Scania Australia recalls certain batch/lots of Scania Teddy Bears due to suspected component detachment and consequential choking hazard. ACCC: http://ht.ly/Cq1B30ad5iU
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Teddy Bears are subject to this recall:
- Scania Teddy Bear, a stuffed brown bear wearing a dark blue jacket
==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.
According to the ACCC, there is a risk that the zipper on the Bear’s clothing may detach. If the zipper detaches, it may pose a choking hazard to a small child.
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Teddy Bears, please do not use them nor let your child play with or near them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
