Canada/Ottawa: Frankly Fresh Salads Inc. and H.Y. Louie Co. Ltd. recall certain batch/lots of Chef Destinations, Frankly Fresh Salads and Fresh St. branded Fresh Guacamole due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risk of bacterial infection, a serious health hazard. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Guacamole are subject to this recall:
- Chef Destinations brand Fresh Guacamole, sold in 300 gram plastic bowls with a best-before date code of 17 MR 22 and a UPC of 7 76525 90905 9
- Frankly Fresh Salads brand Fresh Guacamole, sold in 300 gram plastic bowls with a best-before date code of 17 MR 22 and a UPC of 7 76525 90955 4
- Fresh St. brand Fresh Guacamole, sold in 300 gram plastic bowls with a best-before date code of 17 MR 22 and a UPC of 7 76525 90934 9

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
According to the CFIA, has recalled certain batch/lots of Chef Destinations, Frankly Fresh Salads and Fresh St. brands of Fresh Guacamole products from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. You should not consume the recalled products listed above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Fresh Guacamole products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
