The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Beanit Butter is subject to this recall:

  • Dixie Diners’ Club brand Carb Not Beanit Butter, sold in 15 ounce jars; affected product codes: all current batch/lots; UPC: 6 16578 78105 2

Please consult the photograph above for details of the foods’ packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the CFIA, it has recalled all batch/lots of Dixie Diners’ Club brand Carb Not Beanit Butter from the marketplace due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. You should not consume the recalled product identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Beanit Butter, please do not consume it directly nor use it as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
