Canada/Ottawa: Remark Fresh Markets recalls certain batch/lots of Remark Fresh Markets brand Lemon Blueberry Cobbler Loaf due to undeclared Egg and Milk, both known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Cobbler Loaf are subject to this recall:

  • Remark Fresh Markets brand Lemon Blueberry Cobbler Loaf, sold in 400 gram loaves; affected package codes: all packages where Egg and Milk are not declared on the label; UPC: 0 250912 105489

According to the CFIA, Remark Fresh Markets has recalled certain batch/lots of Remark Fresh Markets brand Lemon Blueberry Cobbler Loaf from the marketplace because they contain Egg and Milk, ingredients not declared on the product label. If you have an allergy to Egg and/or Milk. you should not consume the recalled product listed above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Cobbler Loaf and could be allergic to their Egg and Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
