Washington, DC: As of Wednesday, March 8, 2017, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”), a division of the US Department of Transportation, has posted a total of 23, tire, accessory or other related product recalls this month. Are yours listed? http://ht.ly/5G8bb
Among the 23 the NHTSA has announced this March comes news of the following:
Reyco Granning (“Reyco”) has recalled certain Independent Front Suspensions (“IFS”) modules, sizes 1000, 1700, 1800, 20 and 24. The ball joints on the IFS modules can loosen and separate leading to a partial loss of steering.
According to the NHTSA, during deployment, a separated ball joint can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
