The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Greek Salads are subject to this recall:
- Meijer Pre-Made Greek Salads, sold in plastic containers with a sell-by date of March 3, 2017 and UPCs of 218234-xxxxxx, with the the last 6 digits represented by “xxxxxx” which will vary based on the actual weight of each Salad.

According to the FDA, Meijer has recalled certain batch/lots of Pre-Made Caesar Salads after discovering they were mislabeled and sold as Greek Salads. The mislabeled Salads contain packaged croutons, which are, in part, comprised of undeclared Wheat. The Greek Salads do not include on the croutons and are therefore, not declared on the label for the mislabeled Salads.
Please note: the mislabeled Pre-Made Caesar Salads were distributed to all 230 Meijer locations throughout the US Midwest.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Pre-Made Greek Salads and could be allergic to their Wheat ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
