Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Children’s Sleepware are subject to this recall:

  • Hello Kitty Polka Dot Nightie, style number 121209
  • Monster High Ghouls Nightie, style number 121208

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Children’s Sleepware can be found on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, the garments do not comply with Australia’s mandatory standard AS/NZS 1249:2003 for children’s nightwear and limited daywear. The garments fail to meet the mandatory standard for children’s nightwear burning behaviour requirements.

The recalled Sleepware were sold at Factory Outlet Dromana and Brand Clearance Clothing Pty Ltd trading as Direct Warehouse Clearance.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Hello Kitty Nighties or Monster High Nighties, please do not use them nor dress your children. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
