The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Baked Goods are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

  • Bella Biscotti brand Biscotti – Chocolate Chip – Gluten Free, 1 count package; affected package codes: all packages where Eggs and Milk are not declared on the label; no UPC listed
  • Bella Biscotti brand Biscotti – Peanut Butter & Chocolate – Gluten Free, 1 count package; affected package codes: all packages where Eggs and Milk are not declared on the label; no UPC listed
  • Bella Biscotti brand Biscotti – Salted Double Dark – Gluten Free, 1 count package; affected package codes: all packages where Eggs and Milk are not declared on the label; no UPC listed

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, Bella Biscotti has recalled the above-identified Biscotti Products due to undeclared Eggs and Milk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Biscotti and could be allergic to their Eggs and/or Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
