Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Baby Powder is subject to this recall:

  • Honest Organic Baby Powder sold in four (4)-ounce white bottles with the company’s logo on the front and a UPC of 817810014529.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

==> No item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to Health Canada, the product was recalled due to possible contamination with several species of bacteria, including some species associated with skin infections and/or eye infections. The product may pose a health risk. It is currently unknown how many incidents have occurred in Canada.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled bottles of Baby Powder, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm bacterial contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, drug or other substance, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect material.
