Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports this recall involves certain Light Up Rubber Duck Toys.

The recalled Duck Toys come in four different colours: orange, yellow, pink and green with dark orange for the beak. In addition, there is a squeaker reed embedded in the underside of the duck that makes a sound when activated. The item number of 10967 and UPC of 809519109675 can be found on the label which is attached to the bottom of the Duck.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to Health Canada, the recalled Rubber Duck Toys do not meet the Canadian safety requirements for toys. Specifically, the squeaker component inside the Ducks can be easily removed and if removed, these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Rubber Duck Toys, please do not use them nor let your child play with or near it. Instead, kindly discard them in regular household waste or return them the to place of purchase for a full refund.

Disposal of this product must be in accordance with local municipal hazardous waste requirements to protect your personal safety, the local drinking water supply and the ecosystem.
