The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Biscuits are subject to recall:

  • Chocolate Crème Oreo Biscuits, sold in 176 gram packets with best-before dates of April, May, July and August 2017 and a UPC/EAN of 7622300360375

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FSA, Poundstretcher has recalled the above batch/lots of Chocolate Crème Oreos because they contain Milk and Wheat (Gluten), neither of which is not correctly declared on the ingredient label applied by Poundstretcher.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Biscuits and could be allergic to their Milk and Wheat (Gluten) ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
