The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Tapioca Pearl Recall are subject to this recall:
- Wufuyuan brand Color Tapioca Pearl, 250 gram package; affected product codes: 171212; UPC: 6 927055 989316
- Wufuyuan brand Tapioca Pearl Taro Flavor New Sago, 250 gram package; affected product codes: 171212; UPC: 6 927055 989033

According to the CFIA, Choy Foong International Trading has recalled the above batch/lots of Wufuyuan brand Tapioca Pearls due to suspected mould/mold contamination. You should not consume this product in any form.
==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Tapioca Pearl, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
