Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain batch/lots of Restoration Hardware’s 18th Century Venetian style Beveled Glass Mirrors.

The recalled Mirrors are finished in antiqued silver with a wood backing and come in the following shapes and sizes. This recall only affects Mirrors with a “Hangman” hanging system on the back.

Only Mirrors with a production date after April 1, 2015 are included in this recall at this time. The month and year of production (04/2015) are located on a green sticker affixed to the back of the mirrors.

According to the CPSC, the recalled Glass Mirrors are not properly glued to the backing and the Mirror can fall, posing a laceration hazard to the user and to those nearby. Restoration Hardware has received four (4) reports of the Mirror detaching from the wood backing, resulting in two (2) laceration injuries.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Glass Mirrors, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Restoration Hardware for a full refund.

Disposal of this product must be in accordance with local municipal hazardous waste requirements to protect workers in the waste disposal sector. Always wear protective safety glasses, gloves and other personal protective equipment (“PPE”) as appropriate when working with glass or other sharp surfaces.
