Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Novelty Lighters are subject to this recall:

  • MRK Lighters and Fashion Lighter, sold in a number of colours, styles and themes.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Novelty Lighters are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, mandatory safety warning stickers have not been placed on the Lighters, as required by the appropriate Australia legislation. The lack of labelling can cause misuse and injury hazards.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Novelty Lighters, please do not use them. Instead, please return any incorrectly labeled Lighter to its place of purchase, where the correct label will be attached by the retailer.
