According to the FDA, Protein Boost was designed as a vegetarian product and has the phrases, “lactose free” and “does not contain milk” printed on the label. This recall was initiated after Nu Skin discovered that the flavoring used in the recalled Supplements contains buttermilk, an ingredient that Nu Skin Enterprises says constitutes approximately 0.1% of the overall product formulation.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Dietary Supplements and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
