The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Spotlights are subject to this recall:

  • Crompton XL-LED Performance Track Spotlight, an adjustable interior, 240-volt track-mounted LED Track Spotlight, 20 watts in capacity and is designed to be installed on the ceiling by a qualified electrical installer.

Product dimensions are approximately 100 mm diameter, 200 mm in length and 180 mm height. Electronic LED control gear is contained within the Light.

The Lamps were sold with a SKU of 27031, a CTICK of N1568 and batch codes of 4314 and 2116

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Lamps are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, internal electrical wiring in the recalled Lamp may make contact with the external surface of the light. There is, therefore, a risk of electrical shock if the light is touched when in use.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Lamp, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
