The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Cream Cakes are subject to recall:

  • Clayton Park Twin Packed Cream Cakes, sold with a best-before date of 18 February 2017

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Clayton Park has recalled certain batch/lots of Twin Packed Cream Cakes because the food product has been incorrectly labelled with a best-before date of 18 February 2017. The Cakes should have been labelled with a use-by date of 21 January 2017.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Packed Cream Cakes, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
