The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Chocolate Products are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):
- Dark Chocolate 63%, net weight: 2.9-ounce package; lot numbers: 1100536, 1100501, 1100474, 1100458
- Dark Chocolate Almond, net weight: 3.0-ounce package; lot numbers: 1100535, 1100526, 1100518, 1100519, 1100452, 1100450, 1100482, 1100482
- Dark Chocolate Marshmallow, net weight: 3.1-ounce package; lot numbers: 1100498, 1100505, 1100513, 1100530
- Dark Chocolate Pretzel, net weight: 2.9-ounce package; lot numbers: 1100531, 1100512, 1100456. 1100489
- Extra Dark Chocolate 72%, net weight: 2.8-ounce package; lot numbers: 1100515 & 1100516
- Hot Dark Chocolate Habanero, net weight: 2.8-ounce package; lot numbers: 1100457, 1100471, 1100490
- Super Smooth Dark Chocolate 86%, net weight: 2.8-ounce package; lot numbers: 1100534, 1100533, 1100532

==> No barcodes, UPCs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
According to the FDA, Chip’n Dipped has expanded its existing recall of its Dark Chocolate Bars to include the following: Dark Chocolate Almond, 63% Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Pretzel, Hot Dark Chocolate Habanero, Dark Chocolate Marshmallow, Extra Dark Chocolate 72% & Super Smooth Dark Chocolate 86%. People with allergies to Milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.
The recalled of the above Chocolate Products were distributed to seven retail stores in New York, Pennsylvania and Massachettues.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Chocolate Treats and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
