US/Washington: Kettle Cuisine, LLC recalls certain batch/lots of Mom’s brand Chicken Soup due to suspected mislabeling and undeclared Egg, Milk and Wheat, all known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken Soup are subject to this recall
- 24-ounce cups containing Mom’s brand Chicken Soup with a use-by date of 02/17/17
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-18468” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to Whole Foods Market locations in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Rhode Island.
The problem was discovered when a retail store noted that product labeled as “Mom’s Chicken Soup” actually contained “Italian Wedding Soup with Meatballs”.
==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Chicken Soup and could be allergic to their Eggs, Milk and Wheat ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
