According to the USDA, the Rice-based Meals subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 950” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were shipped to retail locations in Texas.

The problem was discovered on December 22, 2016, when the firm was notified by its supplier that the Worcestershire sauce used in the Rice product was being recalled because the sauce may contain undeclared peanut. Texas Best Proteins determined the scope of the recall by tracing the use of the recalled Worcestershire back to the October and November production dates.
