According to the FSA, consumers are being warned not to eat a number of food products, mainly Frozen Fish and Chicken, supplied by MDA Products Ltd. The products have been repackaged in an unapproved premises and are therefore potentially unsafe.

Further, these food products are also the subject of a number of labelling and traceability contraventions as specified by the FSA. In addition, they may have their best-before or use-by date codes extended beyond those set by the manufacturers and without proper authorisation. They are, therefore, not compliant with UK food law requirements and should be withdrawn from the market and recalled from consumers.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer or other distributor for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
