Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Cider Beverages are subject to this recall:

  • The Cider Lab Pink Lady Apple Cider, packaged in 330 mL bottles with any best-before date
  • The Cider Lab Royal Gala Cider, packaged in 330 mL bottles with any best-before date
  • The Cider Lab Packham Pear Cider, packaged in 330 mL bottles with any best-before date

Please note: the recalled Ciders were sold in 4 by 6 packs of 330 mL glass bottles within a 24-pack cardboard case but may have also been sold individually or in 6-packs.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the Ciders have been recalled due to undeclared Sulphites. Anyone with a Sulphite allergy or intolerance may have a serious, life changing reaction if these beverages are consumed.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Ciders and could be allergic to their Sulphites/Sulfite ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
