The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Candy Products are subject to this recall:

According to the FDA, this recall was initiated after Palmer Candy was informed by a primary supplier that a Milk Powder ingredient used in a compound chocolate coating it supplies to Palmer Candy Company has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recall affects certain Delhaize, Palmer, Publix and Trail’s End branded Candy Products produced between October 20, 2016 and December 9, 2016 and shipped by Palmer Candy Company to grocery, convenience store and wholesale customers US nationwide.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Candies, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Candies to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
