The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Corn Chips are subject to recall:

  • Doritos Lightly Salted Corn Chips, sold in 200 gram bags with a best-before date of 08/04/2017 and a batch code of GBC 209 353D (time code affected between 02:08 to 02:38)

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FSA, the recalled Corn Chips contain Gluten, Soya and/or Wheat, none of these ingredients, however, has been listed on food product label.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Corn Chips and could be allergic to their Soya and Wheat (Gluten) ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
