The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Scooters are subject to this recall:

  • Arwheel Self-Balancing Scooters, distributed by Airwheels Australia

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the battery supplied in the recalled Arwheel Self-Balancing Scooters does not meet Australia safety standards and poses a consequential risk of electric shock and/or fire.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Scooters, please do not use them. Instead, kindly unplug the AC wall charger immediately, stop using the Arwheel Self-Balancing Scooter and return the product to the distributor, Airwheels Australia at 12 Teawa Crescent, Glenwood, Sydney, 2768 for a full refund.
