The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Eclairs and Cream Puffs are subject to this recall:

  • Poppies Mini Eclairs 50 count, sold in 710 gram containers and a UPC of 0 08563 10710 5 with the following batch/lot numbers:

According to the FDA, Poppies International has recalled the above batch/lots of various Baked Goods that were made with Custard Powder containing affected milk ingredients supplied by a secondary supplier, Valley Milk Products LLC, due to the possible presence of Salmonella.

Although no pathogenic bacteria have been found in any of its ingredients and/or products, Poppies has recalled the above identified Mini Eclairs and Chocolate Covered Cream Puffs produced using the suspect ingredient from this supplier.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Mini Eclairs and Chocolate Covered Cream Puffs, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Baked Goods to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
