The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Mac & Cheese 4-Cup Dinners are subject to this recall:

  • Sold at Aldi stores:
    • Cheese Club Express Mac & Cheese 4 Cup Dinners sold with a UPC of 41498171674 and the following best-before dates:
      • 10/18/2017
      • 10/21/2017
      • 10/22/2017
  • Dollar Tree stores:
    • Double Takes Macaroni & Cheese 2 Cup Dinners sold with a UPC of 63927701208 and the following best-before dates:
      • 10/11/17
      • 10/12/17
      • 10/13/17
      • 10/19/17
      • 10/20/17
      • 10/24/17
      • 11/28/17
      • 11/29/17
      • 11/30/17

According to the FDA, Fourth Street Barbecue has recalled of Cheese Club Express Mac & Cheese 4-Cup Dinners and Double Takes Macaroni & Cheese 2-Cup Dinners due to possible Salmonella contamination. The powdered cheese packets included in both of these products may be impacted by a Milk powder ingredient recall made by Valley Milk Products, LLC, a supplier to Fourth Street Barbecue. The Milk powder is suspected to be contaminated with Salmonella.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Mac & Cheese 4-Cup Dinners, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Mac & Cheese Dinners to the respective store where you purchased it for a full refund.
