The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Lamb Stomach Product is subject to this recall:

  • Carey Bros. Meats brand Paunch Lamb Stomach, date processed: 8/11/2016

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, this recall was initiated due to potential microbial contamination.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Lamb Stomach, please do not consume it directly nor use it as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
