Canada/Ottawa: CFIA LogoRedfrog Enterprises Ltd., Delta, British Columbia establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Q.One brand Korean Pancake Mix with Black Sesame due to undeclared Peanut, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Pancake Mixes are subject to this recall:

  • Q.One brand Korean Pancake Mix with Black Sesame sold in 400 gram pouches with a best-before date of 2017.04.03 and a UPC of 8 801013 797138

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the CFIA, Redfrog Enterprises Ltd. has recalled the above identified batch/lots of Q.One brand Korean Pancake Mix with Black Sesame from the marketplace because they contain Peanut, an ingredient not declared on the food product label. People with an allergy to peanut should not consume the recalled product listed above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Pancake Mixes and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.
