The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Chainsaws are subject to this recall:

  • AEG 58V Chainsaw model number ACS58B, battery operated.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Chainsaw’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, if the recalled Chainsaw becomes jammed and the operator attempts to release it by cycling the ignition trigger, the chainsaw may fail, smoke or catch fire.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Chainsaw, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund. You can also contact TTI Customer Service on 1300 859 017 or by e-mail at to register for a replacement Chainsaw with a free AEG 58V 4.0 battery, once available.
