The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Potato Chips are subject to this recall:

  • Neal Brothers Foods brand Salt & Vinegar Kettle Chips, sold in 142 gram bags with best-by date codes of FEB 6 2017, FEB 13 2017, FEB 27 2017, MAR 13 2017 and a UPC of 0 56932 20202 9

According to the CFIA, Neal Brothers Foods has recalled certain batch/lots of Neal Brothers Foods brand Salt & Vinegar Kettle Chips from the marketplace because they contain Milk, an ingredient not declared on the label. People with an allergy to Milk should not consume the recalled product listed above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Potato Chips and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.
