The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Seasoning is subject to this recall:

  • All Purpose Seasoning, all sizes, batch/lots and best-before dates

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CTSI, TRS has recalled all current batch/lots of its All Purpose Seasoning because the product contains celery and mustard, neither of which is correctly identified as an allergen in the ingredients list. This means the Seasoning may pose a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery and/or mustard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled All Purpose Seasoning and could be allergic to their Celery and/or Mustard ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume it directly nor use it as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.
