Canada/Ottawa: Paldo Noodle Soup Recall [Canada]Seoul Trading Corporation recalls certain batch/lots of Paldo brand Oriental Style Noodle Contain Soup Base due to undeclared mustard, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Noodle Soup is subject to this recall:

  • Paldo brand Oriental Style Noodle Contain Soup Base, sold in 115 gram cups; product codes: all codes where Mustard is not declared on the label; UPC: 8 801128 503594

According to the CFIA, Seoul Trading Corporation has recalled certain batch/lots of Paldo brand Oriental Style Noodle Contain Soup Base from the marketplace because it contains mustard, an ingredient not declared on the label. People with an allergy to Mustard should not consume the recalled product listed above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Noodle Soups and could be allergic to their Mustard ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.
