The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Snacks are subject to this recall:

  • Yoma Myanmar brand Tea Salad Snacks, sold in Regular and Spicy varieties and packed in seven (7)-ounce pouches with an expiration date of 6/15/2018 stamped on the package bottom.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FDA, Yoma Myanmar Tea Co. has recalled certain batch/lots of Yoma Myanmar brand Tea Salad Snacks because these food products may contain undeclared peanuts. You should not consume these products if you have an allergy or intolerance to peanuts.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Tea Snacks and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.
