According to the ACCC, certain batches have hand brake cylinders with defective machining. This can lead to early wear of the sealing cup in the hand brake cylinder, thus leading to impaired braking performance. Impaired braking performance poses a potential crash hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Husqvarna Motorcycles, please do not drive them. Instead, the vehicle should be inspected by an authorised HQVA dealer without delay. Please contact a HQVA dealer to arrange a booking and inspection. Should the Handbrake master cylinder batch number show as affected it will be replaced with new quality assured replacement parts FOC.

Registered customers will be sent a recall notification letter specific to the information and the urgent requirement to have an authorised dealer check the vehicle.
