The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves all Samsung Galaxy Note7 Smartphones sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico before September 15, 2016.
The recalled Galaxy Note7 Smartphones have a 5.7 inch screen and were sold in the following colors: black onyx, blue coral, gold platinum and silver titanium with a matching stylus. The brand, “Samsung” is printed on the top front of the phone and “Galaxy Note7” is printed on the back of the phone.

According to the CPSC, the lithium-ion battery sold with the Galaxy Note7 Smartphones can overheat and catch fire. This poses serious burn and eye injury hazards to consumers. Samsung has received 92 reports of the batteries overheating in the United States, including 26 reports of burns and 55 reports of property damage, including fires in cars and a garage.
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Smartphones, please do not use it.

If your Smartphone has been recalled or you suspect it has been recalled based on its purchase date, please power it down and carefully remove the battery from the device immediately. Kindly contact your wireless carrier, retail outlet or http://www.Samsung.com (depending on where you purchased your device) to receive free of charge a new Galaxy Note7 with a different battery, a refund or a new replacement device.
