According to the FDA, The Morrison Milling Company has recalled certain batch/lots of Baker’s Scoop HEB Whole Wheat Flour due to the suspected presence of soft nylon fragments of mesh resembling white hair, caused by a faulty screen at its production facility.

The problem was detected internally by Morrison Milling’s quality department during a routine production line check.

If plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.
