The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Baked Snacks are subject to this recall:

  • Entenmann Little Bites Fudge Brownies, five (5) pack with a net weight of 9.75 ounce packages with a best-before date code of October 8, 2016/3098; UPC: 7203001342; sold in the following states: AL, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, ND, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TN, VA, VT, WI and WV
  • Entenmann’s Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins, five (5) pack with a net weight of 8.25 ounce packages with a best-before date code of October 8, 2016/3098; UPC: 7203001353; sold in the following states: CT, DE, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VA, VT, WI and WV
  • Entenmann’s Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins, ten (10) pack with a net weight of one pound, 0.5-ounce packages with a best-before date code of October 8, 2016/3098; UPC: 7203002111; sold in the following states: IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, OH and WI
  • Entenmann’s Little Bites Variety, twenty (20) pack with a net weight of two pound, 2.5-ounce packages with a best-before date code of September 24, 2016/3098; UPC: 7203001799; sold in the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI and WV

According to the FDA, the product was distributed to retail stores in the last two weeks. The company announced the recall after receiving consumer reports of plastic in product. One (1) injury has been reported. FDA has been notified on this recall.

If plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Entenmann’s, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Baked Goods to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
