The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Automotive Trailers are subject to this recall:

  • Automotive Trailers fitted with 50 mm by 75 mm rectangular Draw Bars that may not comply with the Australian Design Rules (“ADR”) required specifications due to the strength of the material used.

According to the ACCC, there is a potential for the recalled Draw Bar on the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and pose an accident hazard for subsequent road users.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Automotive Trailers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
