Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional variations of the recalled Child Carriers are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, due to a production error, a small number of bars on the tension lock buckles of the lower shoulder straps may have been cut. If the bar has, in fact, been cut, it may cause the shoulder strap to release on one or both sides of the harness. The released strap could cause the Child Carrier to fall from the person wearing it, and, as a result, could pose fall and injury hazards to the child strapped in the carrier.

Please note: the production date code (“PO” or “Purchase Order” Number) is stamped on a black label sewn in the interior of the large bottom pocket in the back of the carrier.

The relevant production numbers for the carriers are S16SB03, S16SB04, S16SB05, S16SB06 and S16SB07 (“S” represents the season of the production run: Spring; “16” represents the year of the production run: 2016; “SB” represents the factory, Sambu; and the last two numbers show the number of the production run).

There were five (5) production runs in spring 2016: runs 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Only Carriers with production number S16SB05 were imported into Australia. The model name is printed on the fabric of the lower front panel of the carrier.

A tag that is sewn into the Carrier’s lower compartment also shows the model name and serial number (each pack has an individual serial number to allow tracking).

The model name, PO number and serial number also appear on a sticker attached to the Owner’s Manual, which is secured to the backpack at the point of sale.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Child Carriers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
