The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Hot Dog Rolls are subject to this recall:

Bakers Life Hot Dog Rolls, six (6)-pack with a best-before date code of JUL 14 (located on the plastic bread bag closure). There were no UPCs or APNs released with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, this recall is due to the potential presence of foreign objects in the product, specifically metal shavings.

If plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Hot Dog Buns, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
