The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Tuna Fishcakes are subject to this recall:

  • Marks and Spencer 2 Skipjack Tuna Fishcakes, with use-by dates of 02 July 2016, 03 July 2016 or 06 July 2016

According to the CTSI, Marks and Spencer is recalling its 2 Skipjack Tuna Fishcakes due to the presence of egg, an ingredient not listed on the product label. The Fishcakes, therefore, represent a possible risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Skipjack Tuna Fishcakes and could be allergic to their Egg ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
