The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Oven Mitts are subject to this recall:

  • Printed Oven Mitts, with a shell composed of 100% polyester/coquill 100% polyester, fill 35% cotton/65% polyester/rempilir 5% cotton/65% polyester. Lining/Doublura 100% polyester. Colour is yellow with a screen print on the front. Made in China. Distributed by ICUP Inc. with part number 7444910697.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Oven Mitts do not meet Australia temperature standards suitable for handling hot objects. This defect, therefore, means the Mitts may provide decreased protection for hands and fingers when used normally and cause burns and other injuries.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Oven Mitts, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
