The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Chocolate Milk is subject to this recall:

  • Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk, 1% m.f., 4 L; product codes: all best before dates up to and including JN22; UPC: 0 66800 00047 3
  • Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk, 1% m.f., 2 L; product codes: all best before dates up to and including JN22; UPC: 0 66800 00042 8
  • Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk, 1% m.f., 1 L; product codes: all best before dates up to and including JN22; UPC: 0 66800 00043 5
  • Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk, 1% m.f., 750 ml; product codes: all best before dates up to and including JN22; UPC: 0 66800 10068 5
  • Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk, 1% m.f., 473 ml; product codes: all best before dates up to and including JN22; UPC: 0 66800 10023 4
  • Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk, 1% m.f., 237 ml; product codes: all best before dates up to and including JN22; UPC: 0 66800 10017 3

According to the CFIA, Saputo Inc. has recalled certain batch/lots of Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. You should not consume the recalled product listed above.

This recall applies to Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk manufactured by Saputo’s Georgetown, Ontario facility (Plant registration # 1590). The Plant Registration Number “1590” that appear on packages can assist consumers in identifying the affected products.

This recall was triggered by findings by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency during an investigation into a current foodborne illness outbreak.
